Bruce Smith, 64, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Frazee Care Center, Frazee, MN.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Nebish Community Cemetery.
Bruce Allen Smith was born January 26, 1953 in Bemidji, MN to Gordon and Ruth (Erickson) Smith. Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the children, where he liked to teach them sign language and games. He was a real history buff. He enjoyed anything about World War II. He enjoyed fast cars, playing darts and participating in demolition derbys. But most of all he enjoyed small engine repair.
He is survived by sons, Bruce “Chopper” (Shawnesy) Smith of Bemidji, Clayton (Lauri) Smith of Bemidji and Jason Smith of Bemidji; siblings, Patricia Smith of Puposky, Geri Kaasa of Cass Lake, Stanley (Leann) Smith of Puposky, Harold (Rosie) Smith of Puposky and Bonnie (Tom) Neuman of Bemidji; 4 grandchildren and significant other, Sheree Keprios of Bemidji.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Frederick “Butchie” Smith.
