Zachary John Glime, 36, of Bemidji passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at his residence.
Celebration of Life will be 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Eagles Club, Bemidji.
Zach was born August 3, 1988, attended Bemidji schools and lived most of his life in the Bemidji area. In 2011 he married the love of his life, Jarica Nei, and they brought three beautiful boys into the world. Over the years, he worked at Nei Bottling and MJ’s All Season’s.
Zach enjoyed the outdoors, camping with his family, fishing, hunting, and motorsports. A self-taught man with an aptitude for engines, Zach could fix most anything with wheels, making it run better or go faster. Zach was fiercely protective of those he loved having been a champion for his siblings growing up and extending that protective bubble around his wife and children. He worked hard, loved hard, and lived life wide open. He was compassionate, empathetic, and giving. His laughter was contagious, and he could always tell a good story. He was playful in nature and never missed an opportunity to compete in any game whether it was spoons with his siblings or X-Box with his kids. Zach had a strong presence and is sorely missed by his family and those who knew him.
Zach is survived by his sons, Berkley, Ryker, and Grayson; parents, John Douglas Glime and Kim (Scott) Carlson; siblings, John Robert, Kelsey (Ross) Johnson, Hayley (Abe) Salber, Kaitlyn (Kyle) Johnson and Seth (Lexi) Carlson; grandparents, Kathy Hadrava, Vicki Carlson and Bob Halverson; in-laws, Mike and Danae Nei; sister-in-law, Jenna (Anthony) Palluck; brother-in-law, Jared (Kyla) Nei and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jarica (Nei) Glime; stepmother, Dawn Glime; grandparents, Max and Doris Glime, Gordon Hadrava, Gordon Carlson and Marlyce Halverson.
In lieu of flowers, a benefit account has been set up at First National Bank under the account “Berkley, Ryker and Grayson.”
