Wendy Irish Obituary

Wendy Anne Irish, 52 of Bemidji, MN passed away May 25, 2020 at the Fargo Hospital.

A celebration of life will for family and friends will be held on June 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. “on the farm” of Jason and Kayla Nickerson at 8733 30th Street SE in Bemidji.

Wendy was born to Marcia and Marvin on August 27th, 1967 in Bemidji, MN where she resided her entire life. She attended Central Elementary School and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1985. Wendy worked for the City of Bemidji as a Liquor Store Clerk for 24 years providing outstanding customer service to the community of Bemidji. She always had a smile on her face and was ready to help you out when you walked through the doors.

Wendy devoted her life to her daughter Krystal, and grandsons, Keegan and Brooks. Everyone that knew Wendy knew that they were what made her world go round. Wendy was always at every sporting event and school program. She was always ready to show you a picture or share the most recent accomplishment they had made. She also took great pride in taking care of her mom. Whether it was a doctor’s appointment or a grocery run Wendy would be there for her. Wendy’s devotion to her family ran deep and no matter the sacrifice, she was always right there.

Not only did Wendy's immediate family mean everything to her, she also loved to spend time with her closest family friends. In fact, the place we gather today was one of her favorite places to be in her spare time. From bonfires and get togethers she loved to be out on "the farm." She loved getting in the car and going for drives on all the backroads. Not going anywhere specific, but just to drive, share stories, and crank up that country music.

Wendy's unforgettable smile will stay with us forever.

Wendy will be greatly missed by her mom Marcia Irish of Bemidji; daughter Krystal (Nate) Irish of Bemidji; Grandsons Keegan(8) and Brooks(4) Irish; and many nieces and nephews.

Wendy is preceded in death by her father Marvin Blacketer; grandparents Edith and Michael Cuda; and her uncle Martin Cuda.
