Teri Lyn (Pemberton) Malbraaten

Teri Malbraaten, 69, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, July 18, 2021, in Neilson Place, Bemidji.

Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2021 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji with Pastor Mike Naylor officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Teri Lyn Pemberton was born June 15, 1952, in Bemidji, MN to Louis & Lorraine Pemberton.  She grew up and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1970, and then went on to attend the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing for the next 2 years.  On October 7, 1972, she married Daryl Malbraaten in Bemidji.  Teri would work at various jobs until taking a position with the Cass Lake-Bena School District and would remain there until her retirement in 2019.  She enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and stock car driving.  Teri was also a tremendous cook- always preparing foods that all her family genuinely enjoyed.

Teri is survived by her husband, Daryl Malbraaten; son, Brett (Rachel Fry) Malbraaten; aunt, Darlene Dillon, and many cousins.  She is preceded in death by her parents.
