Sylvia Mary (Bundy) Finley

Sylvia Mary Finley of Bemidji, MN died on Tuesday May 12, 2020 at Havenwood Care Center, Bemidji, MN.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Sylvia Mary Finley was born on September 15, 1938 in Bemidji, MN to George and Bessie (Hightshoe) Bundy. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1956. She met and married Jerrold “Jerry” Finley on May 28th, 1957. They lived in Washington State raising their two children. She worked as a nurses aide in the early years and then as a house keeper until she retired. In 2000 they moved to Bemidji, MN and had a hobby farm and garden.  Sylvia was a faith filled woman participating in all facets of her faith community. Sylvia and Jerry moved to Havenwood Care Center in 2015 where she reside until her death.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Joanne) Finley, Bemidji, MN, Judy “Cricket” Finley of San Antonio, TX., Brother, Duane Bundy of Bemidji, MN, 6 grand kids, Corbin (Britt), Misty, Michael (Jennifer), Alaina, Nicholas, and Haley, along with many great grandchildren. She preceded in death by both of her parents, George and Bessie Bundy, Husband, Jerrold “Jerry” Finley, and brother, Charles Bundy.
