Shaye Michael Terrill-Yaklich

Shaye Michael Yaklich, 25, of Bemidji, MN passed on June 2nd and is sleeping until Christ’s soon return.

A memorial will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Bemidji Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4400 Eckles Rd NW, Bemidji.  There will be a meal at the church following the service.

Shaye was born on July 16, 1997. He lived in Bemidji his entire life. He loved playing hockey, baseball and to snowboard and skateboard. He graduated from Bemidji High School in 2015. In addition to sports, Shaye had a passion for cars and trucks. He became a mechanic and was working at Tires Plus. Also he loved to fish all year round. To watch Shaye grow into such a sweet young man with the biggest heart is such a blessing. Our children are the greatest gift from God and by His love and grace and Christ’s death on the cross, we will be together again one day.

Shaye is survived by many that will miss him dearly. His parents; Erin and JD Danless of Bemidji and Joe Yaklich of Eveleth; his brother, Myca Yaklich of Bemidji; the love of his life, Emma Duden of Red Lake Falls; his grandma, Patsy Terrill and Ted Peterson of Bemidji; his grandparents, Jack and Verna Yaklich of Gilbert; uncles, Michael Terrill of Bemidji and Paul and Kathy Yaklich of Twin Cities and also many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Ray Terrill.
