Sandra Marie (Scheuring) Berg

Sandra Marie Berg passed away peacefully after a brief stay at GoldPine Home in Bemidji, MN on December 7, 2020, and left with the angels for a final resting place in heaven.

She was born in Minneapolis on December 21, 1943 to Fern and Gregg Scheuring. She attended Vocational High School graduating in 1961. She married William Marshall in Minneapolis in 1964 and raised three children, Scott, Jeff and Kelly. They divorced in 1973. She married Jeffrey Port in Minneapolis in 1975 and they had a son, Sean. Jeffrey passed away in 1984. Sandy continued waitressing at the “Mug and Muffin” in Bemidji and later at Southside Restaurant until her retirement in 2006. She was always a people person and totally enjoyed her friends and customers. She married Don Berg of Bemidji on March 23, 1999. She enjoyed her garden and working in the yard, their motorcycle trips out west from the Colorado Rockies up thru Yellowstone and Glacier National Park also the trip in Canada over to Niagra Falls in New York. She loved the winters down south on the Gulf, walking the white sand beach and meeting up with other snowbirds that she met over the last 12 years.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Don; sons, Scott (Rita) Marshal, Jeff Marshall and Sean (Raenelle) Port; daughter, Kelly Marshall; thru her marriage to Don, daughters, Tammy (Stephen) Guza and Jennifer Lagergren; sister, Patricia (Ken) Burk; combined family of 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and nieces, Carol, Terry and Jodi.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Jeff and nephews, Tony and Steve.

There will be no services held at this time.
