Ryan Daniel Nickerson

Ryan Nickerson, 44, passed away on April 11, 2025. He was born on February 5, 1981 in Bemidji, MN the son of Daniel and Peggy Nickerson. He graduated from BHS and went on to a secondary school in Fargo and graduated with a Construction Business management degree.

He was a carpenter – master craftsman most of his life and loved working with wood often making specialty pieces for people’s homes. He met Jasmin Mather in 2011 while working as Maintenance Director at Jourdain Perpich Care Center in Red Lake and they had 3 children. He moved to Charleson, SC for a few years continuing on his love of carpentry working on a crew in the Charleston area. He moved back home in 2019 and had his own company doing remodels and specialty builds. He loved cooking, import cars, drawing and playing guitar but his greatest love was his children. He talked about them every day and when he wasn’t able to work anymore, he took over their daily care.

He is survived by his wife, Jasmin; his parents, Daniel and Peggy Nickerson, his Grandmother Donna Nickerson, siblings Jason (Kayla) Nickerson, Amber (Darin) Cooper, his children Emma (Carolyn Green), Ethan, Orion and Aeris, Nieces Tayler and Autumn and Nephews Nash, Austin, Dylan, Gabe and Evan, and Jace.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Robert and Ione Anderson and Mike Nickerson.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The funeral will be at Aardahl Church on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
