On November 7, Paul Kenneth (Ken) Morgan peacefully passed away in his home. Ken was surrounded by his family.
Ken is survived by his wife Jane Morgan, sister, Jeanette Elasky, daughters Michelle Karr (Jason Alexander) & Kari Pickett-Cole (Jim Cole), and sons Paul Pickett (William Powell) and Derek Pickett (Ericka). Ken was the proud grandfather to six beautiful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ken was a teacher at the Red Lake Nation for 30 + years before retiring to Punta Gorde, FL. Ken and Jane returned to Bemidji in 2021. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing for many years before turning to biking, running and other outdoor activities as he moved into retirement.
Ken was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend, spending his time focusing on the joy of others. He will be missed by many but his spirit will remain.
The family would to thank Dr. Rodney Will, the staff at the Joe Lueken Cancer Center Bemidji and Home Care Hospice of Bemidji.
Per Ken’s wishes, no services will be held.
