Pamela Joy Vary

Pamela Joy Vary was 63 years old and passed away peacefully with sisters by her side on April 1, 2025 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji.

She was born on January 18, 1962 in Bemidji to Fred and Grace (Porter) Vary. Welcome into this world by 3 loving sisters and one brother. Pam always greeted us with “Hey good lookin!” or “You’re cute!”. She loved shopping, going for coffee or just having lunch with friends. Watching movies with her friends at all the group homes was another pastime. Pam enjoyed sewing, making herself a skirt or two. We enjoyed going to the parks with pizza in hand and just loving the nice weather. Pam worked at ODC and DAC during the young years.

Pam is survived by 3 sisters, Debbie (Rob) Vietor, Barb (Bill) Hensley and Sherry Vary and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Vary; mother, Grace Vary; brother, Bernard Vary and 2 nieces, Shawna Deems and Stacy Vary.
