Norman "Norm" Ralph Evans

Norman Evans, 78, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, June 6, 2022 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Aardahl Lutheran Church, Bemidji.

Norman Ralph Evans was born November 25, 1943 in Bemidji to Ernest and Emma Evans. Norm was a farmer, butcher, Christmas tree grower, school bus driver, resorter, sawmill operator, fire wood seller, cattleman and perhaps his favorite passion, logger. He was kind, gentle, soft spoken and always willing to lend a hand to a friend or neighbor.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Evans; sons, Randy Evans, Kevin (Holly) Evans and Tom (Suzie Port) Evans; grandchildren, Dani, Jaakob, Hunter and Samantha; sister, LaVerne Olson and brothers, Elroy (Leann) Evans and Ken Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Evans; brothers, Wally Evans and Robert Evans and sister, Mildred Langerak.
