Melvin "Butch" Olsen

Melvin “Butch” Olsen, 85, of Bemidji, MN died Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his home.

Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023 Pony Lake Cemetery. Followed by a remembrance at Grace Olsen’s home.

Born to Howard and Margaret (Knapp) Olsen he grew up farming, logging and hunting at his Grandfather's farm in Puposky, He attended Pleasant Valley and Bemidji High Schools.  Later in life he worked at Bemidji Nuply/Georgia Pacific Plant. 

He is survived by wife Grace (Vincent), children Carol, Sam, Kurt, Todd and Ross.  Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He will be missed by family and friends.
