Mary Lee Peterson, 69, of Bemidji, MN died Friday, April 1, 2022 in her home.

Family services will be held at a later date.

Mary Lee Unger was born March 20, 1953 in Bemidji to Lyle and Alva (Johnson) Unger.

She grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from Grand Rapids High School. She was a nurses aid and worked for Good Samaritan in Blackduck and then Beltrami County Nursing Home, Bemidji. Mary enjoyed being with family, her kids and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David A. Peterson; children, Tanya (Adam) Robinson and Carl (Nicole) Peterson; 6 grandchildren; mother, Alva Unger; brothers, Jim (Debbie) Unger and Bill Unger; and sisters, Joann (Vint) Mikulich and Heidi Unger.

She was preceded in death by her father.
