Mary Kay (Allen) Lindsey

Mary Lindsey, 66, of Bemidji and formerly of Cass Lake, MN died Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Neilson Place, Bemidji.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2023, at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cass Lake.

Mary Kay Allen was born July 15, 1957, in Bemidji, MN to Joseph & Ileane Allen.  She grew up in Cass Lake, MN.  Mary loved bingo and was very good at it, playing many cards at one time. She had a food vending truck and an auction house in Cass Lake.  Mary also did tax accounting.  She loved talking with people and people loved her and her smile. She had an ease of talking with people.

She married Norman Lindsey on March 15, 1982, in Bemidji, MN.  Mary enjoyed reading and fishing. 

Mary is survived by her brother, Joseph (Katherine) Allen; stepchildren, Jason (Darlene) Lindsey and Kathryn Lindsey.  She preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Lindsey; stepson, David Lindsey; sisters, Patricia Anderson, Bonnie Marcell, and Gail Bredemus; brother, James Allen
