Marjorie Louise (Kirby) Huewe

Marjorie Huewe, 79, of Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2024 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Bemidji.

Marjorie Louise Kirby was born March 22, 1945 in Ada, MN to Luther and Ruth (Treichel) Kirby. She grew up in Bemidji and graduated from Bemidji High School. On November 6, 1965 she married Richard Huewe in Bemidji. In 1988 Marjorie graduated from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and taught in Red Lake for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, hand crafts, sewing, knitting, needlework and helping others and especially enjoyed when her children and grandchildren would come and spend time with her.

Marjorie is survived; children, Laura (Aaron) Hilde, Allen (Patti Robinson) Huewe, Neil (Alaina) Huewe and Jeff Treichel; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; son-in-law, David Lofgren; brother, Charles (Susan) Kirby; sister, Marilyn (Joe) Campbell.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; daughter, Beverly Lofgren.
