Marie Louise (Weidenborner) Todavich

Marie Todavich, 78, of Puposky, MN died Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Autumn Hills Assisted Living, Bemidji.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Nebish, MN with Fr. John Christiansen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment in St. John’s Catholic Church Cemetery.

Marie Louise Weidenborner was born January 19, 1940 to Cyril & Veronica Weidenborner in Shooks, MN.  She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Kelliher High School in 1958.  After high school she moved to Minneapolis to work for Sears & Roebuck.  She met and then married Tony Todavich June 18, 1960 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Blackduck.  Marie went to work for the US Postal Service in 1964 and would retire from there in 1992.   She was a long time member of St. John’s Catholic Church serving in various roles since 1960.  Marie was also a long time member of the Nebish Willing Workers. Marie’s life revolved around her faith, family and friends. She enjoyed many hours maintaining her flowers and lawn as well as doing hand embroidery and quilting.

Marie is survived by her loving children, Dianne (Matt) Dockendorf, Tony (Cindy) Todavich, Jr., Greg (Cheri) Todavich and Mike (Yvette) Todavich all of Bemidji; 7 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Emmet (Erma) Weidenborner and Paul (Cecilia) Weidenborner both of Shooks, MN, Monica Larson, Lake Forest, IL and Ray (Laura) Weidenborner, Blackduck, MN.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Anthony; infant brothers, James & George.
