Marcia Irish passed away Friday June 7th with her granddaughter by her side.
Marcia was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on January 18, 1942 to Edith and Michael Cuda. She eventually moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she met Marv Blackater and had four children together. Their family moved to Bemidji where Marcia raised her kids and resided for the remainder of her life. Marcia was known for her quick wit and always speaking her mind. (Whether you wanted to hear it or not.) She was always honest (sometimes too honest) but that’s what many loved about her. She was great at making others laugh and had a smile that lit up the room. Her love for animals ran deep and she was always ready to share stories about her dogs. If she wasn’t bragging about her dogs, her grandchildren were the topic. Her love for them ran deep and she would brag about them any chance she got. We find peace that Marcia is in heaven and rejoicing with her animals and daughter, Wendy.
Marcia is survived by her granddaughter Krystal Irish and great-grandsons Keegan and Brooks Irish, 2 sons, Tom (Kathe) Irish and Rich (Carol) Irish, and many other grandchildren. She was welcomed to heaven by her dad, Michael Cuda, her mom, Edith Cuda, her daughter Wendy Irish, her brother Martin Cuda, her son Terry, and her many beloved animals.
A small celebration for all will be held at Havenwood Care Center on June 23rd at 1:30.
