Lyndon J. Roberts, 85 died at his home on November 3, 2025 after an extended illness.
A memorial service will be held at the Fern Township Cemetery in Becida, MN on Sunday June 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM. A celebration of Lyndon's life will follow at the Becida Bar and Grill.
Lyndon was born on May 20, 1940 to Earl and Margaret (Sankey) Roberts of Becida, Mn. Lyndon attended the Sankey School. In 1959 he enlisted in the US Army.
Lyndon served his country with great pride and honor. He was awarded the Bronze Star while serving one of his two tours in Vietnam. Lyndon retired from the Army as a Master Sergeant. Lyndon was very musically inclined and could play several instruments, he especially excelled at and enjoyed playing the guitar. Lyndon also enjoyed playing cards, dancing, fishing, hunting and gardening.
Along with his parents, Lyndon was preceded in death by his brothers George, Lyle, Stanley, Leslie, Dale, and Earl Robers and his sisters Jessie Benson, Margaret Rearick, and Janet Malterud. He is survived by his wife Amy and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
