Lucille Neumann, 93, of Bemidji, died Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Havenwood Care Center, Bemidji.

A Celebration of Life will be 2-5 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Puposky.

Lucille Lillian (Pearson) Neumann was born on May 30, 1932 to Otto and Hilda (Nelson) Pearson in Puposky, MN, in a little log cabin.  She was the last of eight children.  She attended Austin School through the eighth grade and then went to Bemidji High School where she graduated in 1951.  She moved to Bemidji after high school and worked as a city clerk where she met her future husband, Gilbert Neumann.  They married on April 24, 1954, at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Puposky.  They had two children, a daughter, Linda and a son, Tom.  She and Gil enjoyed many camping and fishing trips with their children. She worked as a secretary at Smith, McRae & Hilligan Law Office for many years and retired in the early 1980's from the Smith Law Office.  After retirement she and Gil enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome.  In her later years she loved reading, knitting and needlework of many kinds.  She is survived by her two children, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings.
