Katie Marie (Cushman) Chandler

Katie Chandler, 36, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, November 26, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bemidji with Rev. Robert Wentzel officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Nary Cemetery.

Katie Marie Cushman was born June 12, 1982 in Cooperstown, ND to Rickey and Diane (Burt) Cushman. The family moved to Frazee where she graduated from Frazee High School in 2000. She attended Bemidji State University graduating with a business degree in 2006. Katie married Jon Chandler September 30, 2006 in Bemidji. She worked at North Country Business Products as contract administrator, First National Bank for a short time and then worked at Marco as their contract administrator. Katie enjoyed spending time with her family traveling, hanging out with friends, the lakes, snowmobiling and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Jon Chandler of Bemidji; daughter, Hattie at home; son, Isaac at home; parents, Diane (Terry) Yokom of Bemidji and Rick (Tammy) Cushman of Cooperstown, ND; maternal grandfather, Gerald Burt of Cavalier, ND; brother, Bryce (Uyen) Yokom of Perham; sisters,  McKensie Yokom of St. Paul, Stacia Zimprich of Jamestown, ND, Kelcey (Adam) Niedermeier of Tea, SD and Abbey (Mike) Anderson of Grand Forks, ND; in-laws, David and Marie Chandler of Bemidji and sister-in-law, Allison Chandler of Anchorage, AK.
