Kacey Eugene Erwin

Kacey Eugene Erwin, age 34, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home in Fargo, North Dakota.

Kacey was born in Bemidji, MN, on August 19th, 1990 he spent his childhood years in Solway and Bemidji and finished high school in Cass Lake, MN. Kacey attended Northwest Technical College studying auto mechanics. He moved to Fargo, ND to pursue a career in commercial sandblasting and painting which included traveling across the United States and was in the process of venturing out on his own starting a sandblasting and painting company. In his spare time, Kacey loved to work on his truck, car and toys and his friends’ vehicles also, he was always willing to help friends in need.

Kacey had many hobbies. It all started young in life with go-carts, 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. His passion grew as an adult with his GMC truck, Harley Davidson motorcycle, hot rod Honda cars, and Artic Cat snowmobiles. Kacey loved trips to the mountains for snowboarding and snowmobiles. He went annually to Sturgis, SD for the bike rally, also many camping trips, snowmobiling, concerts, and festivals with friends. Kacey has always been a foodie and enjoyed cooking, grilling, mastering his Traeger smoker, all the way to fine cuisine with his close friends he considered his family.

Kacey is survived by his: parents: Kelly (Tammy) Erwin of Solway, Delora (Mark) Syljuberget of Bemidji; siblings: Melissa Erwin of Solway, Tristan Syljuberget of Bemidji; niece: Alexis Parks of Solway; stepsiblings: Arthur-Sonney (Holly) Braun of Becida, Shelby (Heather) Floan of Bemidji, Darren (Lindsay) Syljuberget of Bemidji, Cassie (Greg) Delaney of Bemidji.

Kacey is proceeded in death by his: grandparents: Doris Sellin, Nick Meader, Verna Loiland, Art Burnham; aunt: Kayla Feiker; cousin: Shawn Osmundson and several loved friends!
