Jennifer was born February 11, 1943, in Crosby, MN. She had a twin sister Janette that was born minutes after Jennifer but sadly only survived for 2 days. She grew up living on Perry Lake in rural Crosby and loved to tell stories of her adventures on the lake. She loved the water and fishing.
Jennifer married Donald A. Bock on August 4, 1960, and they made their home in Bemidji where they raised 5 sons.
She loved to sew, play the piano, and dance. She was famous in the family for her breads, rolls, and donuts. She loved to bake. She also enjoyed fishing and camping with Don and her sons on Rainy and Kabetogama Lakes every summer. She also loved gardening and canning.
Jennifer had the biggest heart you could imagine. At age 23 she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and spent most of her life crippled and in pain. But she never complained and was a wonderful mother to her 5 boys.
Jennifer loved visiting friends and family and seeing her grandkids. She always had the biggest smile on her face when the grandkids came over.
When her sons were grown and started their own lives, she worked at Herberger’s in Bemidji for many years as a sales consultant. She really enjoyed her time at Herberger’s.
