James "Jim" Roy Noreen

James (Jim) Noreen, 57, died February 13th, 2021 at his home.

A celebration of life/time of sharing will be held 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Helga Town Hall, 25895 County Road 9, Bemidji, MN.                                       **** We are encouraging everyone to please wear a mask. ****

James Roy Noreen was born February 7th, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN to Donald and Judy Noreen. He moved to the Bemidji area in 1973. In 1990, he married Lisa Campbell, and had his two daughters, Megan and Kristi. He met Mary Cole and welcomed her 3 children into his family. He worked for his dad at Don’s IGA, Rod’s Meats, Marketplace Foods, Wal-Mart, and finished his career at Country Hearth. Jim enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, cooking on his weber grill, and being on the lake.

Jim is survived by his partner Mary Cole; children, Megan Noreen, Kristi Noreen, Jessica Anderson, James (Kateri) Peterson, Alex Cole; grandchildren, Jordan, Jenna, Simon, Severin and Solomon; siblings, Dianne (Wes) Harris, and Rick (Kim) Noreen; nieces/nephews, Katlyn, Donny, Darren, Nick, Melissa, Julie, Richie and Jim.

Jim is preceded in death by his father Don, mother Judy, and sister Kathy Wilcox.
