Harold “Killer” Dwane Christianson, 75, died Monday, August 2, 2021, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at The Eagles Club, Bemidji. Family asks that you park on the east side of the Eagles building.
He was born January 5, 1946, in Farden Township, Hubbard County, MN the son of Peder & Dorothy Christianson. He married Sharon Dudley on August 21, 1965, in Lake George, MN. For several years he worked for Bratlien Logging and was a self-employed logger for 10 years. He then worked for Reierson Construction until he was disabled in 2002. He was a hard worker who loved fishing, gardening, hunting, running his Bobcat and tractors, mowing the grass and he also loved playing cribbage. He enjoyed his family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and all his friends. He will be very much missed by all including his beloved dog, Smoke.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years; 2 sons, Kurt (Kathleen) Christianson & Keith (Kim) Christianson; 9 grandchildren- Krista (Keith) Koski, Kaylee (John) Yuretich, Dylan (Haley Hague) Miller, Joshua Christianson, Brooke (Austin Tangen) Christianson, Dakoda Christianson, Drayden Christianson, Braden Christianson; great grandchildren, Peder Miller & Oakley Koski; 16 step-grandchildren & step great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Arnold (Barb) & David (Becky) Christianson; 3 sisters, Marcene (Nick) Molitor, Joy (Ed) Christianson & Regina Lalim; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kathy Davey & son-in-law, Kevin Davey; sisters, Nancy & Bonnie; brother-in-law, David Lalim.
