Our Dad, Guy Grover Cloud, was born to Christine Fisherman And James Cloud on March 5th 1954, he was raised by Allen and Ella Wilson of Ball Club. He was the youngest of 4. Mary Jane Fawcett, Ida Downwind, and Roberta Decker.
Dad was known for the love he had for others. Loving to be outside, singing, hunting, fishing, or driving. He also loved playing the guitar, and won a few awards from his Creedence Clearwater Revival, his favorite band next to the Eagles. He looked out for all his siblings and was loved beyond measure.
He was a proud Marine Corp veteran. You could always find his camp on the powwow trail by the flags he flew. A Marine Corp flag for his own service and an Army flag to honor his daughter's service. Both of which he was extremely proud.
Guy married Judy Cloud in 1976.
They went on to have
Yvonne Cloud, Christina Cloud, Anita (Justin) Kohlhagen, Roberta (Jon) Tyner, Katie (Tim) Andrews, and Miranda Cloud.
His grandchildren started arriving in 1998 and one of his favorite titles have been Grandpa/Mishomis
Natrone, Breah, Arianna, Ryelan, Shanowa, Toby, Leland, Louie, Mika, Charlotte, Henry, Zaydin, Aleena, Braxten, Olive, Kyrian, and Harlynn.
As an added bonus, he became a great grandpa in 2017. Lukah, Raeleigh, Dexter, Asher and Lakelynn
He spent his time fixing things, helping people, working on his cars, hunting, and spending time with his kids and grandkids whenever he had a chance.
Guy was always there to help, anyway he could. He never hesitated to lend a hand, ear, or advice. He never had a negative thing to say to people. He loved beyond measure and made sure everyone knew they were welcome.
To know our Dad was to know someone so easy to love you're not quite sure how you ever lived without him.
While none of us are ready to live life without him, we all can carry the love he had for all of us. Be kinder to the next person, share a coffee, stop to help them fix their vehicle.
Dad was truly one of a kind. He will be missed.
Services are set to begin Saturday January 31st at 6 pm at the Ball Club Community Center. And will continue into Monday when cremation will take place.
We ask that you share the stories he told or tell us one that you love about him. We know he touched a lot of lives and would love to hear your stories.
