Gary Allen Moe

Gary Allen Moe of Turtle River age 79 died Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND surrounded by his family. 

Gary was born on March 14, 1946 in Madelia, MN to Ruth Ermino (Hewitt) and Norman Gilbert Moe.  He grew up in the Becida area & at the age of 15 moved North of Bemidji.  In 1969 he married Beverly Himmelright and they raised 3 sons.  Gary lived in Montana where he was a rancher and Bemidji where he logged for many years with various operations including Moe Logging.  He ended his career with MoeCo Fire & Safety before retirement.

Gary enjoyed stock car racing, hunting, fishing, playing pool, camping, being outdoors and spending time with family.  Gary was a simple man.  He didn’t need material things he just needed his family.

Gary is survived by his sons Kevin & Lynda Moe, Bob & Stephanie Moe of Bemidji, MN and Dave & Holly Moe of Coin, Iowa.  Gandsons Brian & Anna Giauque of Bemidji, MN, Morgan Moe (Sierra Schebaum) of Farragut, Iowa. Granddaughter Mikah Moe of Minneapolis, MN.  Great Grandson’s Jadon, Milo & Kaynan.  Sister’s Marilyn Davis, Bonnie & Spencer Price of Bemidji, MN. Brother’s Gerald & Kathy Moe, Ed & Lindsey Moe of Bemidji, MN.  Many nephews & nieces.

He is preceded in Death by his parents Ruth & Norman Moe, Brother Melvin Moe & Sister Jeanette Erickson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14 from 12-3pm at the Guthrie Town Hall, 44255 Rail Road, Guthrie MN 56461
