Brent Hadrava, 63, of Bemidji, died Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Fargo, ND.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:30 pm at St. Philips Catholic Church, Bemidji, with Fr. Chuck Huck officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Emil Brent Hadrava was born July 3, 1955 in Bemidji, MN to Emil & Catherine Hadrava. He grew up on the family farm near Guthrie, MN. He attended school in Laporte and graduated from Laporte High School in 1973. After high school he went to work for his father at Hadrava Logging. On October 11, 1975, he married the love of his life, Patricia Kudak, in St. Philips Catholic Church, Bemidji. In 1977, Brent leased the Donat Hole and operated it until October of 1978. He then went back to work with his father and brothers in the logging business and would remain there until his retirement in January 2016. Brent enjoyed his work and spending time in the great outdoors. He loved spending time with his beloved grandkids, taking care of his property and ice fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Rebecca (Jody) Windt, Jason (Adella) Hadrava and Kelly (Matt) Siems; grandkids, Catherine Windt, Brent Siems, Patrick Hadrava, Cooper Siems and Ella Hadrava; siblings, Pamela Coons, Brian (Susie) Hadrava and Barry (Lily) Hadrava; Aunts, Olga White, Lillian (Vernon) Bliss, Delores Henson and Lois Hadrava; mother-in-law, Arlene Kudak; sister-in-law, Phyllis (Robert) Eibensteiner and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law.
