Donna Emma (Johnson) Kurtz

Donna Emma Kurtz, 53, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Cass Lake Hospital.

Celebration of life 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the  Mission Community Center in Cass Lake MN.

Donna Emma Johnson was born November 18, 1968 in Bemidji, MN to Donald and Dorothea (Reller) Johnson. She grew up in the Bemidji area and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1987. On April 19, 1994 Donna married David Kurtz in Bemidji. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Donna crocheted and did other crafts. She liked motorcycling, camping, snowmobiling, traveling and having fun with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, David Kurtz; children, Margaret (Dennis) Staples Sr. of Cass Lake, Brandon Kurtz of Washington, Kirsten Kurtz of Texas and Calvin (Emily) Kurtz of Bemidji; 8 grandchildren; mother, Dorothea (Mike) Huber of Lake George; brother, Steven Johnson of Drayton, ND and sister, Connie Johnson of Bemidji.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald and grandparents; many aunts and uncles and mother-in-law, Ethel.
