Pete Hoie a proud Vietnam Veteran passed away peacefully at the Mahnomen Health Care Center at the age of 75. Pete fought a tough battle against cancer since 2017 and always hoped he could win the fight but God’s plan was to take Pete to his heavenly home in the afternoon, Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Pete enjoyed being Honored twice as proud owner of two Century Farms. The Foss Farm he lived on and just recently the Hoie Farm where he grew up. Farming and sailing were his life and he did them both very well.
