Delbert Lee Newby

Delbert Newby, 92, of Bemidji, MN passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022 in his home.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 26. 2022 at the Eckles Town Hall. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Eckles Town Hall.

Delbert Lee Newby was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on April 3, 1930 to Robert & Mable Newby.  On November 25, 1950 he married Mary Kay Workman.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kay; children, Linda (Chuck) Borchard, Pete (Dianne) Newby, David Newby and Patty (Mike) Eichstadt; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Carol and Patty; brother, Tom (Joyce) Newby and sisters, Shirley Belcher, Charlotte (Paul) Rose and Bonnie Osborn.

He was preceded in death by his children, Perry, Bill and Connie; grandson, Scott; parents and 6 siblings.
