Daniel Glen Hallman

Daniel Hallman, 72, of Bemidji, MN died Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Cass Lake, MN.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, September 25, 2020 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., with a 5:30 p.m., prayer service at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji.  Due to the COVID 19 precautions, masks are required.

Daniel Glen Hallman was born September 9, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Lillian Hallman. He grew up in Chicago and graduated from Lane Tech in 1966. He went into the printing trade and worked for A1 Litho, Fast & Accurate and Darwell Press retiring in 2004. On September 4, 1983 he married Diane Wielontek in Las Vegas, NV. In 2006 “Disco” and Diane moved to Bemidji where she retired and Dan could go fishing everyday with his fishing partner, Laurie Williamson.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Hallman of Bemidji; brother, Bill (Kim) Hallman of Chicago; nephew, Michael Hallman; sister, Shirley Oshinski of Wooddale, IL; goddaughter, Jenny; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, Christian, Kai, Cora, Mila and Daiven.

He was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Amy.
