Curtis Glime, 68, of Bemidji, MN, died Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Bemidji Eagles Club.
Born in Bemidji, Minnesota to John "Max" Maxwell Glime and Doris Jean Glime (Hoem), Curtis Roy Glime lived a life rooted in the Northwoods — a place he loved and called home.
Curt was a man of many talents. With a painter’s eye and a craftsman’s hand, he brought beauty and precision to every log home he touched. After years with Log Homes of Minnesota, he built his own legacy through his business, *Pro Finish*, earning respect and admiration throughout the Bemidji and Walker communities.
But Curt’s true masterpiece was the life he lived. He found joy in the quiet of the woods, in the stories shared at his shack, and in the thrill of the hunt. He was known for his tied pant legs, the earthy scent of patchouli, and the sketches he’d draw with ease. He was generous to the core — the kind of man who’d give you the last dollar in his wallet and never ask for anything in return.
Curt was a devoted father to Jessica Glime, Heather Glime (Tyler Eide), and Jenna Dallum (James Dallum). He was a proud grandfather to Lakota Roy — his right-hand man — and to Dustin, Amera, Ariyanna, Mindy, Serenity, Chasity, Madison, and Malaki. He was a beloved brother to Bonnie Hoppe (Arvid), Alan Glime, and John Glime, and a cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Curt’s presence was a gift — steady, kind, and unforgettable. His stories, laughter, and love will echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he has left this world, his spirit remains in every trail walked, every home he helped build, and every memory shared.
He will be missed beyond words.
He will be remembered beyond time.
