Corrine “Tiny” Johnson, 63, of Cass Lake, MN died unexpectantly in her sleep July 6, 2021.
A Celebration of Life with potluck will begin at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Bena Community Center.
Corrine Marie Stangel was born August 6, 1957, in Bena, MN. She grew up and graduated from Cass Lake High School in 1975. She met and married Michael Johnson on September 17, 1979, in Minneapolis, MN. Tiny worked as a waitress all her life. Her family was her everything; from taking care of her sister to putting her children and grandchildren first in all that she did- she truly was loyal and faithful to all her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and watching over the hummingbirds that would visit her home. Tiny was also very devoted to her religious faith.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Jessica (Brian) Baker & Justin Johnson; 9 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren; sister, Maggie Mettler; brothers, Stevie, Lonnie, Tony, and Jerry Stangel. Tiny is preceded in death by her mother, Noma Stangel, and sister Karen Tucker.
