Carole Rae (O'Gary) Drury

Carole R. Drury, age 83, of Bemidji, MN died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at First Lutheran Church, Bemidji with Pastor Linnea Papke-Larson officiating.  Family will greet friends for one hour before the service at the church.  Inurnment will be in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery.

Carole Rae O’Gary was born December 29, 1934 in St. Paul, MN to Edward and Susan (Bellotti) O’Gary. She graduated from St. Paul Central High School. Carole worked at 3M where she met Jack Drury. They were married in 1954 and had three daughters. In 1960 the family moved to Bemidji. She was very devoted to her family, loved being home and raising her children. Carole sang many years with the Sweet Adelines. She served on many boards at First Lutheran Church and was a member of International Chapter P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter AT.

She is survived by daughters, Gail (Jim) Conway, Bemidji; Karen (Tony) Karst, Walker & Jackie Naylor, Bemidji; Grandchildren, Christopher, Joel, Tony, Zachary, Kerry and Krista; Great Grandchildren, Jameson, Kellan, Raegan, Taylor, Kaylyn, & Brantlee.  Preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Susan O’Gary; husband, John “Jack” Drury and brother, Patrick O’Gary.

Family prefers memorials to First Lutheran Church or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
