Carol J. Nelson, 81, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji, MN. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Carol Joan Nelson was born March 11, 1938 in Bemidji, MN to LeRoy and Gladys (Strand) Depew. On March 30, 1955 she married Walter Nelson. Carol owned and operated the Economy Shop for 50 years. We will all miss her.

She is survived by one son, Ricky; three brothers, Clair, Bruce and Dennis; 5 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; daughter, Teresa; sons, Bradley, Daniel and Randy.
