Brian Cameron Pesola

Brian Pesola, 59, of Bemidji, MN and Loveland, CO, died peacefully Sunday, February 20, 2022, at his home with his wife and family by his side.

A social gathering in Brian’s honor will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Helga Township Hall from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All friends and family are invited to attend.

Brian Pesola was born September 1, 1962, in Youngstown, OH to Dawn TC Pesola (Thelma Clara South) and Franklin Herman Pesola. Brian graduated from New York Mills High School in 1982 and received his mechanic and small engine repair certification from Detroit Lakes Technical College in 1984. He later married the love of his life and soul mate Twilla Jean Leeper on July 18, 1992. Brian worked in the auto parts industry and repaired numerous small engines throughout the years. He and Twilla lived in Bemidji, MN, Northome, MN, Loveland Co., and recently moved back to Bemidji, MN. Brian was helpful to family, friends, and others in need. He enjoyed woodwork etching and his happy place was camping, trail riding, and sight seeing with friends and family in Estes Park, CO. With no children of his own, he enjoyed co-babysitting his niece and nephew. Brian was a long time Moose Lodge and Eagles Member.

He is survived by his wife, Twilla Leeper; three brothers, Vincent Pesola, Chris (Laura) Pesola, Darin (Angie) Pesola; mother-in-law, Beverly Leeper; brother-in-law Buck (Stacie) Leeper; nieces and nephews; Brian Beasley, Adam Coghlan, Echo Pesola, Kade Leeper, Brie Leeper, Jaiden Pesola, and Lucas Pesola.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Eugene Leeper; nephew, Eric Beasley; mother, Dawn TC Pesola; father, Franklin Herman Pesola; grandparents, and other beloved aunts and uncles.
