Beverly Denise (Huewe) Lofgren

Beverly Lofgren, 49, of Bemidji, died Sunday, September 30, 2018, at her home after a very courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday October 4, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji, MN with Pastor Genelle Netland officiating.  Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Bemidji.

Beverly Denise Huewe was born August 11, 1969 in Bellflower, CA to Richard & Marjorie Huewe.  Her family moved to Bemidji when Bev was a very young girl.  She grew up and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1987.  She would meet and eventually marry David Lofgren on July 22, 1989 in Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji.  Bev worked for Merit Care Same Day Surgery.  As of this past August, Bev begrudgingly, had to leave her job as Surgical Services Manager at Sanford Medical Center- Bemidji due to her declining health.  Bev was always about family- focusing her love and dedication to her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family. 

She is survived by husband, David Lofgren; children, Stacy (Cody) Rohde and Derek (Anamarie Leingang) Lofgren; grandchildren, Olivia, Amelia, Emma, Addy Rohde and Ella Lofgren; parents, Richard & Marjorie Huewe; brothers, Allen (Patti Robinson) Huewe, Neil (Alaina) Huewe and Jeff Treichel; sister, Laura (Aaron) Hilde; grandmother, Pauline Huewe.
