Anthony John Stillday

Anthony Stillday, 83, passed away at the Jourdain-Perpich Center, Red Lake, MN Monday, June 21, 2021.

Graveside services will be held later at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Anthony John Stillday (Ebiitang- which means “Acts up”) was born November 24, 1937, in Red Lake, MN to Reed & Julia Stillday.  He grew up in Red Lake and Redby.  He entered the US Marine Corp in 1956 and he was honorably discharged in 1958.  Anthony then enlisted in the US Army and would be honorably discharged from there in 1959.  After leaving the military, he married Rose Bugg and to this marriage came Toni, Tammy, and Marshall.  While living in Minneapolis, Anthony graduated from wrestling school and went by the name of Willie Two Bears.  He also worked as a window washer and general laborer until his retirement.  Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to the casino.

Anthony is survived by his children, Toni Stillday, Tammy Flammond and Marshall Stillday; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his partner of 40 years, Isabelle “Ginger” Eubanks; parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
