Adam Lee Abbott

Adam Lee Abbott, 45 of Bemidji, MN unexpectedly passed away on January 15, 2026.

Memorial Services will be on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church of Laporte, MN with Pastor Tony Kerr presiding.

Born on April 16, 1980 to the parents of  Donald G. Abbott of Laporte, MN and Jacqueline M. Miller of Bemidji, MN. He graduated from Bemidji High School in 1999. He worked at various jobs as a handyman with Davis Dry Wall, River Rip Wrapping, and spent two years working on commercial fishing boats in Alaska.  Recently Adam worked for Tires Plus of Bemidji and prior to that  numerous Pipeline Companies throughout the United States  as a laborer and welder. Adam enjoyed bow and rifle hunting for deer and bear plus fishing during all seasons. His love of tinkering with anything that had wheels and a motor gave him the greatest joy.

Survivors include father, Donald Abbott; mother, Jacqueline Miller; sister, Amanda Abbott of Bemidji; niece, Kelli Gray of Laporte; and nephew, Tristen Foster of Bemidji. Preceding Adam into death are both his fraternal and maternal grandparents.
