Vonna Marie Tentinger

Vonna Marie Tentinger, 55, Bemidji died Saturday, May 4th, at Sanford Medical Center. 

Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji with Rev. Nate Bendorf officiating. A Time of Sharing will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home.

Born in Devils Lake, ND to Norman and Janine (Oberlander) Haug July 18, 1963. Vonna grew up in Bismark, ND and then attended the University of North Dakota-her beloved Fighting Sioux. Vonna married Russell Moen, October 15, 1983 and they were blessed with the light of their lives, Breanna Moen and Benjamin Moen. Vonna married Pete Tentinger July, 8, 2006.   She was blessed with three new children Amanda, Andy and Alesha. She was recently blessed with the love of her life, 1st granddaughter Charlotte Rose. Vonna had a career as a gymnastic coach, paralegal and was currently employed as an insurance adjuster for Cincinnati Insurance.  She loved being present and involved in Bre and Ben’s school activities and in their adult lives. She was “Mom” to many of their friends and stranger to no one. Vonna’s true happiness was exemplified through the gathering of her family and the abundance of smiles and laughter that was shared together.

She is survived by her husband, Pete, her children Breanna, Ben (fiancé Alyssa Dokken), Amanda, Andy and Alesha and granddaughter Charlotte. She is also survived by her mother, Janine, her brother Nels (Angie) and her nephew Grant. She is survived by many friends and past and current coworkers. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman, and her brother Troy and her grandparents.
