Tina Marie (Hommerding) Roberts

Tina Marie Roberts, age 47 of Becida MN died Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Neilson Place after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji with Rev. Andrew Ronnevik officiating. Family will greet friends for one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Tina Marie Hommerding was born December 28, 1969 on Whidbey Island, Washington to Donald & Judy (Reinbold) Hommerding.    She grew up in Becida attending school in Bemidji and graduating from Bemidji High School. She then attended the University of Crookston for 2 years graduating with an Associate Degree as a Dietician.  She married Robert Roberts June 28, 2003 in Clearwater County, MN.  They lived in Becida and she worked for Merit Care until being diagnosed with cancer.  Tina enjoyed singing, dancing, karaoke, flowers, making jewelry and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Rob Roberts, Becida; brother-in-law Keith (Julie) Roberts, Becida; father, Don Hommerding, Guthrie and mother, Judy Hommerding, Bemidji; paternal grandmother, Julie Hommerding, Bemidji; siblings, Tanya (Tim) McMahon, Ted Hommerding, Stacy (Cory) Poole, Mike (Jodi) Soderstrom & Randy Soderstrom and aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by step-mother, Sue Hommerding, Grandfather, Gregor Hommerding, Grandparents Art & Irene Reinbold and Father-in-law Earl “Sonny” Roberts.
