Steve Owen Trepanier

Steven "Steve" Owen Trepanier, 57 of Bemidji passed away peacefully July 14th, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at 1:00pm at Calvary Lutheran. Coffee and cookies to follow.

Steve was born in Bemidji, MN on October 27th, 1961 to Bill and Marlyce Trepanier. He was the 4th of 5 children. Steve married Anne Dillon in 1986 and the have three children: Daniel (Teresa) Trepanier of Bemidji, MN, Katie Trepanier of West St. Paul and Joseph (Kaci) Trepanier of Hammond, WI. Steve is survived by his wife Anne, three children Daniel, Katie and Joseph, two grandchildren Easton and Ava Trepanier, mother Marlyce Trepanier, siblings: Julie (Jeff) Bell, Vicky Trepanier, Burnie Trepanier, Tonia (Ed) Henry and many uncles, aunts, cousins, niece and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father, Bill Trepanier.

Steve was a union laborer for 35 years and a proud member of Local 563. Steve was an incredibly hard worker and wanted to help people. Steve always said that his greatest accomplishment is his family and he loved spending time with them, especially his two grandchildren who have a piece of his heart. Anyone who knew Steve knew that he loved to catch Walleye with a jig and a minnow, however he loved hunting even more. One of Steve's favorite past times was drinking beer at a bonfire with his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in the Twin Cities.
