They had two children, Patty (Mike) Nygaard and Terry (DeeAnn Evans) Wintersteen. She worked for her father at the Bemidji Food Mart and Recreation Café for many years. She then went to work at Bemidji Vo-Tech for 14 years before she had to retire on account of kidney problems. She received a kidney from Doug Warrington (Donald’s cousin) going on 22 years ago. She traveled for years with her husband, Don, on all his Eagles travel’s. She loved to cut the three acre yard of her family farm by Grace Lake, where she lived for 75+ years before selling and moving to town. She had no brothers or sisters so really enjoyed her cousins, aunts and uncles.
