Roxane Dee Knudson

Roxane Knudson, 55, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Neilson Place, Bemidji.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home with Pastor Kent Dudley officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2019 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fern Township Cemetery, Becida, MN.

Roxane Dee Knudson was born August 31, 1964 to Edwin and Lucille Knudson in Bemidji. She grew up in Bemidji and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1982. Roxane then attended Alexandria Technical College. Her life’s journeys brought her to many locations throughout the U.S. finally coming home to Bemidji in 1998. Roxane went to work for MeritCare Clinic as a transcriptionist and would continue that same work with Allegis Group. She had an artistic eye for anything that dealt with crafts and was quite accomplished. She sold her crafts at many craft shows in the area. Roxane was an avid Vikings and Hallmark Channel fan.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Jeremy) Urman of Bemidji and Hannah Allen of Bemidji; granddaughter, Kathleen “Kate” Urman; parents, Edwin and Lucille Knudson of Becida; sisters, Rochelle (Paul) Friesen of Bemidji and Rhonda (Randy) Hendricks of Becida and nieces and nephew, Brooke (Jacob) Lien, Brittany Batchelder, Chase Hendricks and Payten Hendricks.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Juanita Schlee and Richard Schlee and Bill Weber; paternal grandparents, Ray and Bertha Knudson and father of oldest daughter, Hank Rossiter.
