Peggy Lynn Manecke

Peggy Lynn Manecke, age 57, of Bemidji, MN, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN.

A time of sharing will take place on Friday, July 5, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home in Bemidji, MN.  The family will greet friends on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bemidji, MN, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, to be followed by the memorial service at 10:30 am.  A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Peggy Manecke was born on February 12, 1962, in Kokomo, IN, the daughter of Paul and Mary Anne (Huffman) Manecke.  Later that year the family moved back to Becida, MN, and Peggy graduated from Bemidji High School.  After high school, she worked in the hospital cafeteria in Bemidji, at Dunkin Donuts in Bemidji, Anderson Fabric in Blackduck, and Walmart in Bemidji for the past 15 years.  She was a lifelong resident of Becida and Bemidji and member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  In her free time she liked to go to the casino, take care of her cats, travel to Texas to visit her friend Peg, and take care of children, especially her beloved nieces and nephews. 

Peggy is survived by her parents, Paul and Yolanda Manecke of Bemidji, MN; siblings, Charlene Manecke of Bemidji, MN; Paul (Nicole) Manecke of Bemidji, MN; Maria (Jeff) Zaharko of Albany, OR; and Jesse (Anna) Manecke of Bemidji, MN; nieces and nephews, Braedon, Taylor, Samuel, Dexter, Ellie, Andrew, and Emily; and sister in heart, Peg Irwin of Bemidji, MN. 

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Anne Manecke;, sister, Paula Manecke; and all her grandparents.
