Pearl Stordahl, 95, of Bemidji, MN died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Havenwood Care Center.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Trinity Free Lutheran Church Pony Lake with Pastor Kevin Larson and Pastor Bill Goodman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Trinity Free Lutheran Cemetery, Pony Lake. Arrangements were entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home.
Pearl Jackson was born June 25, 1923 in Minneapolis, MN to Mark and Pearl (Pittsenburg) Jackson. She grew up in Skunk Camp near Becida and went to school in Bemidji. On April 15, 1943 she married Russell Stordahl in Bemidji. She was a devoted housewife and mother. Pearl was fond of animals of any kind especially dogs. She loved music from an early age playing organ and singing. She loved traveling, especially going out to Washington to see her children, fishing, camping and going for evening rides. Pearl enjoyed adventures in old cars with Russell. She lived alone in her apartment for 15 years before moving into Havenwood Care Center. Family and friends were everything to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret “Dolly” (Alan) Anderson of Arlington, WA; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell; son, Larry; brother Glen Jackson and sisters, Dorothy Konoske and Ruth Hooper.
