Mildred Faye (Evans) Langerak

Mildred Faye (Evans) Langerak, 78, of Bemidji died peacefully Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Bemidji with Pastor Genelle Netland officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Lunch will follow. Interment will be at the Aardahl Cemetery in the spring. 

Mildred (Millie) was born March 6, 1941 in Bemidji to Ernest and Emma Evans.  She was the 6th of 8 children. She attended school in Bemidji and graduated in 1959 from Bemidji High School.  She married James R. Langerak on September 20, 1970, and they made their home in Bemidji.  She spent her time volunteering at Calvary Lutheran Church, Horace May Elementary, and delivering Meals-on-Wheels.  She enjoyed woodcarving, sewing, square dancing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. 

Millie is survived by her husband of 49 years, James; children, Lavonne (Tim) Sullivan of Sturgeon Lake, MN, Loren (Kristi) Langerak of Bemidji, Lanette (Jon) Anderson of Bemidji, and Luke (Lacey) Langerak of Bemidji; 6 grandchildren, Kyla (fiancé Brady Hannem) Langerak, Nathan (fiancé Aurora Stately) Anderson, Michael Sullivan, Kate Langerak, Evan Langerak, and Aaron Langerak; and 1 great-grandchild, Mason Hannem.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
