Max Hirt Obituary

Max Hirt, 85, of Bemidji, MN died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Neilson Place, Bemidji.

It was Max’s wishes that no services will be held.

Max Lee Hirt was born in Bemidji on September 13, 1932 to Caroline and Earl Hirt. He grew up in Bemidji and graduated from Bemidji State College in 1958. He married Georgia Romeos in 1976. He worked for the State of Minnesota from 1958 until 1990 when retired. Max enjoyed curling and golf and belonged to the VFW, Legion, Eagles Club and the Elks Club.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Joyce Karpovich and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Georgia; a sister and a sister-in-law.
