Lorraine Donalda (Pearson) Church

Lorraine Church, 92, of Bemidji, MN died Friday, December 27, 2019 at Neilson Place, Bemidji.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 3. 2020 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral with Deacon Robb Naylor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Lorraine Donalda Pearson was born May 9, 1927 in Duluth to Gus and Vicki (LaFontaine) Pearson. She grew up in the Denfield area of Duluth and attended Denfield High School. After high school she went to work as a beautician. She met and married Lee Church on April 14, 1950 in Duluth, MN. In 1960 they moved to Concord, CA where Lee worked for International Harvester and Lorraine owned and operated her own beauty shop. They retired in 1990 and traveled the county and eventually settled in Bemidji. Lorraine loved to play bingo, traveling and go dancing where she was quite good at tap.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Donna Hausman) Church of Cass Lake; grandchildren, Christian Church and Laura Church both of Bemidji and brother Gus Pearson of Auburn, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Orville.
