Larry Mark Moravec

Larry Moravec, 54, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, July 1, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2019 at Buzzle-Osterdalen Lutheran Church, rural Pinewood, MN with a memorial gathering one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bemidji.

Larry Mark Moravec was born December 15, 1964 in Bemidji, MN to Dennis & Opal Moravec.  He grew up in Nymore where he attended Lincoln School and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1983.  He worked at Hardees, where he met his future wife, Kathy Grumbo.  They were married July 6, 1985 at First Lutheran Church, Bemidji.  Larry went to work at Four County Oil as a truck driver and would remain there until going to work for Knife River.  Larry enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns, working in his yard and spending time at home.

Larry is survived by his wife Kathy; sons, Joshua and Justin (Michelle Thomas Moravec); grandson, Connor Moravec; mother, Opal Moravec; brothers, Francis Moravec, Daniel (Willow Frishman) Moravec, and James (Karla Hadrava) Moravec; special nephew, Michael (Ellie) Moravec, and niece, Emily Moravec. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis.
